Food insecurity is a serious issue that affects millions of people around the world, and it’s only been made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. With costs of absolutely everything rising, many families are struggling to put food on the table, and the demand for assistance from food banks has skyrocketed.

That’s why we knew we had to do something to help. For the second year running, we donated to our local food bank, not only to help provide meals for families in need and reduce the number of people going hungry at Christmas, but also to allow struggling families to still give gifts to their loved ones.

Our small team of 20 employees came together with donations of food and small treats which were then made into small gift hampers. Cash donations were taken to a local supermarket to get as many extra supplies as we could afford. Our local foodbank were over the moon and grateful to our staff for their generosity.

We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the fight against food poverty and we are proud to support the important work of our local foodbank.
